As we arrived in Rhayder we headed up te hills into Elan Valley many of those who know me will know i call this place heaven on Earth its totally beautiful with lots of scenery. Today the weather was cold and wet and due to Arrianna having an eye condition i have to be very careful with her in the wind which means our walking days are limited however we drove round visiting each dam in turn.
The dams hold the Water for the City of Liverpool, Its hard to believe such beauty is man made. Elan Valley is also a place of history cause it was here they tested the bouncing bombs during the war, The True Dambusters and there are talks held regularly through out the years and the dam which was tested, well its remains can be seen today.
After we reached the last dam hunger had set in among us so we headed to the Visitor Centre of lunch, As we sat down the heavens opened and we sat for ages watching the rain before our Next adventure.

For lots of regular updates on Arrianna's Progress please join Arrianna's own Facebook Page links above.
I sell items here to help get some money to buy her equipment as and when she needs it already this has proved invaluable especially living here when help and resources are limited. As well as selling on the facebook page i also sell items on ebay, some raise money for the Downs Syndrome Association where a small percentage goes to the cause. Links for this Below.
I would like to say a HUGE thank you for the Help and support of everyone recently no matter how much or how little you have done every bit counts. Also Thanks to everyone who has purchased items from us to make getting vital equipment possible.
On ebay there is lots available to buy including Clothes for All, Baby Equipment, Haynes Manuals and LOADs more well worth a look.
Arrianna at 23 Weeks
How totally blessed this family is to have such a wonderful addition in Arrianna, such a beautiful smile that just washes away all those blues. The summer holidays are well under way and the fun as not stopped yet, Arrianna has been on so many adventures including the Royal Welsh Show, Walks and we have even been to Swansea. Arrianna has dis coved new noises and loves to show off and gain attention using them. Kellyn and I have brought her lots of new toys and she responds well to discover what they do.
Arrianna has had a recent visit to the Physiotherapist as she still has very low mussel tone and now she is getting bigger the problems are creeping in, She is unable to support herself in an upright position and although we worked hard to gain neck control for her she is still struggling. We were recommended to get a bumbo but this was totally unsuitable for her and now i am looking at specialist seating for her as she need to have a chair to eat in now she is on solid foods which will support her well so does not have any digestion issues. Once again i am now busy researching but i got talking to a lovely lady recently at a carers group i attend and she was able to advise me ( Thank You at last someone understands ). Watch this space for our Big Adventure specially tailored for Arrianna COMING SOON.

Product Review - Petite Star Zia
The Petite Star Zia is a personal favourite of mine i use one of these for my 2 year old Ceienna it lies back has a small shopping basket handles for hanging shopping off easy to fold and folds up really small nice to push and is light weight . Highly Recommended by me .
Product Review - Quinny Zapp
Recently i trialled a Quinny Zapp This was a nice easy to pushchair and light weight however the back is not adjustable. Te pushchair folds up small and at first takes some working out but is fine afterwards. Great for small car boots. Not my Cup of tea but good item if you want a pushchair for a toddler.
Teddy Bears Picnic
Recently the Family got together in the Glorious sunshine for a Teddy Bears Picnic. We all made some Kebabs with Sausages and various vegetables which were then cooked on the Barbecue. Great Time was had by All.
