Special Thank You xxxx
A Huge Thank You to Everyone who sent Messages, Text and Tweets today
For Wishing Arrianna well and Keeping her in your thoughts, It means so much to me to know so many of you out there care about her so much. We can now look forward to the future.
Heart Scan Update
After Months of worrying today was finally the day Arrianna was having her heart scan, Once again we visited Shrewsbury Hospital. Arriving at Out Patients we bumped into some familiar faces which was lovely.
We took a seat and waited to be called by the consultant time seemed to creep by but Arrianna and i had lots of fun playing together.
Finally 30 minutes later we were called in. I stripped her top off and the Consultant examined her.
Bless her she was so good just lying there letting the Consultant do what he had do do She didn't Cry and was very brave.
The Doctor was very please to say the hole which she had been born with had now shrunk to a tiny pin hole, This may never close but as Arrianna is doing so well there is no need to worry about this and for the first time we talked about Arrianna becoming an adult, it felt like someone giving her a future i was so happy.
It was now time to Celebrate

Yummy Welsh Cakes
Recently the Children and i Made Welsh cakes they were well yummy very easy to make ideal for children as they don't take long to cook. I know lots of you saw them on facebook and wanted the recipe so just for you here it is x
Ingredients
- 225g/8oz self-raising flour, sieved
- 110g/4oz (preferably Welsh) salted butter
- 1 egg
- handful of sultanas
- milk, if needed
- 85g/3oz caster sugar
- extra butter, for greasing
Preparation method
- Rub the fat into the sieved flour to make breadcrumbs. Add the sugar, dried fruit and then the egg. Mix to combine, then form a ball of dough, using a splash of milk if needed.
- Roll out the pastry until it is a 5mm/¼in thick and cut into rounds with a 7.5-10cm/3-4in fluted cutter.
- You now need a bakestone or a heavy iron griddle. Rub it with butter and wipe the excess away. Put it on to a direct heat and wait until it heats up, place the Welsh cakes on the griddle, turning once. They need about 2-3 minutes each side. Each side needs to be caramel brown before turning although some people I know like them almost burnt.
- Remove from the pan and dust with caster sugar while still warm. Some people leave out the dried fruit, and split them when cool and sandwich them together with jam.

Ty Mawr Country Park
My Children are always up nice and early so we jumped int he car and headed out to Wrexham. On the way we stopped at Ty Mawr Country Park this is one of our favourite places to visit, There is so much to see and do here.
The Park is home for a range of various animals as we were there early Kellyn and Ceienna got to help the Park ranger, to get the animals out and to Feed them.
One of the Ginnie pigs had recently had babies and Kellyn got to name one. He Chose Ceienna after his sister, After visiting the animals we headed to the park it has been newly done up and is now a great fun place to play.
There are some wonderful walks here idea for pushchairs and they take you by the river. We didnt do this today as we didnt have Arriannas Pushchair with us but Kellyn has asked to go again soon so im sure we will be, Watch this space.

Camping Day 2 & Llyn Clywedog
After waking early to a beautiful sun rise we had breakfast and went for a walk. Yet again it started raining so i put kellyn, ceienna, Arrianna and Muzzy in the car and begain to put away the sleeping bags and the tent.
We were so happy we didnt want to leave but we were heading to visit another man made dam, Llyn Clywedog. When we arrived i checked my Blackberry where the was a mark on twitter the waiting for me was a fab message from someone it made me so happy i was jumping up and down with excitement, there was no one around so i just screamed YES !!!!!!!!!!!! but that's another story. After visiting Beautiful Llyn Clwedog we headed for the dam and the
Bryn Tail Mine this was a lovely walk and a very interesting visit. Camping Night
Well after watching the Red Kites we decided it was time to set up camp. We chose to stay at Gigrin and i am so glad we did it was totally worth it. The children enjoyed the freedom and space for the field running and chasing each other around while i pitched up the tent, giving a few spectators a good laugh as i was doing this on my own. but we sat watching the Kites flying around us long into the evening.
We were soon hungry once again so we headed off into Rhayder for a Chip supper, as we reached the town we had a wonderful suprise, there was a Tractor run on so we parked the car and headed to the centre to watch. The children were so happy debating makes and models its amazing the knowledge these children have gathered and standing listening to them discussing such issues just makes me giggle.
After grabbing dome dinner we headed for a walk along the river where we came across a park so the children headed off for a play much to Muzzys disappointment he couldnt join in. While here we had our first bad reaction from someone who looked at Arrianna, But Arrianna gave them her smile and soon won them over.
As evening closed in we headed back to the tent and the children were soon asleep leaving me to just enjoy the beautiful scenery the nature going on around me and just some me time, The camp site was now empty as other campers had left. It was just such a lovely feeling and i went to sleep feeling totally at peace.
